This homeowner in Holyoke, MA called us looking for blown-in insulation in her attic. She wanted to make her home more comfortable and energy efficient.

We were able to help this customer! We were able to replace the attic insulation with TruSoft™ cellulose insulation. We started by removing the old blown-in insulation using a large vacuum. We then went in and air-sealed around all of the points where air leaks up from the home to the attic. We did this using our Zypfoam™ spray foam. Once the attic was air sealed, we used a long hose to blow in TruSoft™ cellulose insulation. TruSoft™ is amazing -- it does not burn, get moldy, or attract pests. The blown-in insulation fills all gaps and oddly shaped voids. The homeowner now can enjoy lower energy bills and brand new insulation!  

This homeowner in Holyoke, MA called us about getting her attic insulation. While discussing that over the phone, she mentioned she would be interested in basement insulation as well. She was hoping that she would be able to make her home more energy efficient and comfortable.

We had the perfect solution for this customer! We utilized two-part expanding spray foam. We insulated the rim joist (the perimeter of the floor framing system along the exterior of the home). We spray this foam in the rim joist and over the sill plate. Insulating the rim joist in this way seals all air leaks -- filling in the cracks and gaps that are present there. This prevents outside air from getting into the home. The homeowner is now very happy, and he is much more comfortable in his home! 

This homeowner in Holyoke, MA reached out to us regarding finishing her basement. She was hoping to increase the space in her home for the comfort of her family. When our Home Comfort Specialist came out to the home to evaluate, he found that she did not have adequate insulation. 

We were able to help this customer. We utilized our Foamax polyisocyanurate board alongside two-part spray foam to insulate the basement. Before we were able to utilize these, however, we had to remove the mold and the old insulation. Once the mold was removed, we were able to go in and begin to insulate. The Foamax polyiso board was able to fasten directly over the existing walls. Now, this homeowner is happy and more comfortable in her basement! 

The owner of this commercial space was experiencing loud hallway noise outside of his office.  Our team installed a cellulose insulweb treatment dense packing the walls to create a sound barrier and eliminate noise.  After completing this treatment, the owner noticed an instant noise reduction as a result of our soundproofing treatment. 

This homeowner called us because he purchased a home near the water and wanted to re-do the basement. The homeowner wanted to create a moisture barrier in the basement before continuing with the total basement finishing project.

Our Building Science Specialist carefully evaluated the basement and concluded that the best option was to air seal and insulate the rim joist with closed-cell, Spray Foam Insulation.
