In the winter, her heater was running constantly -- and in the summer, she could not sleep without multiple fans and the air conditioning going 24/7! She wanted to have her home evaluated, and her insulation removed and replaced.

We were able to help this customer! We were able to replace the attic insulation with TruSoft™ cellulose insulation. We started by removing the old blown-in insulation using a large vacuum. We then went in and air-sealed around all of the points where air leaks up from the home to the attic. We did this using our Zypfoam™ spray foam. Once the atitc is air sealed, we used a long hose to blow in TruSoft™ cellulose insulation. TruSoft™ is amazing -- it does not burn, get moldy, or attract pests. The blown-in insulation fills all gaps and oddly shaped voids. The homeowner is very excited, and is already much more comfortable in her home!

Once we were done, we began the process of replacing the gable vent. We installed the new gable vent into the side of the home. Then, we framed it, ensuring that it had a sleek and attractive appearance. Now, their gable vent looks 10 times better, and their attic is perfectly insulated, leading to lower energy bills for years to come!

Fogarty's Home Services replaced the old dirty attic insulation to get the attic clean and ready for proper air sealing and insulation of clean fresh TruSoft Cellulose insulation in Wethersfield, CT.  As you can see in the before photo the old batt insulation was loose and not properly insulating this homeowner's attic for home efficiency. 

This homeowner in Windsor, CT wanted to reduce drafts and humidity in the basement.  Rim joists are often uninsulated which allows cold dry air to enter the home in the winter and warm humid air to enter in the summer.  Our team used our closed-cell polyurethane spray foam insulation to air seal and insulate the rim joist.  Our spray foam has an insulation value of R7 per inch.  The foam expands ensuring all cracks and gaps are sealed to prevent outside air from entering.  The homeowner will have warmer floors, their home will be more comfortable and easier to heat and cool.
