Insulating a Garage with Foamax in Simsbury, CT

These homeowners in Simsbury, CT called us looking to insulate his detached garage. They were converting their rental house into their primary residence. The garage was not insulated. This is fairly common for detached garages. However, this homeowner wanted to have a temperature controlled garage. This meant that their energy bills were higher than they should be. 

The best way to insulate garage walls is to use insulation board. We installed our Foamax polyisocyanurate (Polyiso) foam insulation boards. They install right over the existing walls.
