SuperAttic™ Installation to Combat Ice Dams in North Adams, MA

Our North Adams, MA customer reached out to Fogarty's Home Services after experiencing ice damming. She was concerned that they would cause leaking and damage in her attic. After one of our Home Comfort Specialists completed a free Home Energy Evaluation, we determined that her vented attic needed more sufficient insulation.  Vented attics are hostile places (-30°F in the winter and 125°F in the summer). Heat from the house in the attic melts snow on the roof where it refreezes at the eaves causing destructive ice damming. After installing this SuperAttic™ Advanced Conversion system in our customer's home, she not longer has a hostile environment in her attic that will cause ice damming.
