This homeowner in Ware, MA came to us with very high energy costs, going through an unbelievable amount of oil a month.

We seal along the walls and insulate with our SilverGlo foam to keep cold air from getting in. We put down matting to allow for some air flow followed by TerraBlock insulation and a vapor barrier to keep moisture and cold air from coming up through the dirt. 

Heating this home will now be far cheaper thanks to Dr. Energy Saver by Eco Energy Solutions.

The floor upper level, the ceiling of the lower level and knee-wall are all cold in winter and hot from radiant roof heat in the summer. This result makes the knee-wall space not suitable for storage since it is dusty and very cold or hot. To resolve this Fogarty Home Services uses blocks of SilverGlo™ foam Insulation that is installed between ceiling joist bays. Outside the blocks, the surface of the sealing is sealed with sprayed foam or SilverGlo™ foam.

The homeowner's crawl space was in very bad condition and affected the overall home health with moisture from the dirt beneath the home. 

Fogarty's Home Services solution was to install a crawl space encapsulation system and sump pump filtration system in the homeowner's crawlspace to help make this home more comfortable.

This homeowner in Columbia, CT contacted us regarding his radon fan. He had an existing radon mitigation system that was over 20 years old. He stated that it was obsolete and had most likely outlived its lifespan. He was also concerned because the manometer had a different reading than it normally did. Our radon specialist went out to the home to evaluate the system. He found that the radon fan needed to be replaced, which was exactly what the homeowner had thought.

We were able to help this customer! We replaced his old, broken fan with a brand new one. We utilize many different radon fans, depending on the specifics of the home. After identifying the perfect fan, we removed the old one. We then installed the new one in its place. We also replaced the manometer on the inside of the home and labeled the radon pipe appropriately. We finally tested the system to ensure it was functioning. Now, the homeowner is very happy!
